Purpose of Position:
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in the sales process with Sales and strategic partners. You will understand the company’s technology offering in detail and see the big picture of how it relates to customer’s needs. You will take your intimate knowledge of our software and demonstrate the suite of company products to potential customers. You’ll take advantage of your background in Content and Document management to establish credibility with prospects. You will answer detailed technical questions from customers about how our products will make them successful. You will use your sales experience to secure business in very competitive situations. You will navigate resources within customer’s organizations to reach key technical buyers and influence them. In turn, our company will provide you with a challenging fast-pasted environment that rewards initiative and results.
• Provide technical sales support to account representatives and customers
• Identify customer needs and sales opportunities to maximize and grow sales
• Help customers by providing technical solutions using the Open Text’s suite of products
• Prepare and maintain competitive analyses
• Content Management experience and knowledge
• Document Management experience and knowledge
• Windows 2000 Server management skills
• Ability to travel extensively
• Candidate will be fluent in both Portuguese and English, Spanish would also be beneficial.
Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
3-5 years of technical selling experience in Enterprise Content Management
