This role has two primary areas of focus:
Manage the Diabetes Alliance by understanding and translating the
strategic intent of the Alliance; facilitating the successful implementation of
the vision for the integrated organization; and engaging constituencies to
achieve the vision. This includes,managing
both the strategic direction and operational execution of the BI/ Lilly
Alliance, while balancing the needs of key stakeholders which include the
individual employer, and the Alliance.

The second area of focus is to support the President and CEO, BIPI
in executing key strategic and operational business initiatives. Aligning strategy into the portfolio of
initiatives and develop a road-map for entire business. Serve as a "right
hand" to the President and CEO, BIPI. Focus areas includes but is not
limited to: preparing analyses and delivering insights; developing
presentations; and facilitating strategic meetings.

Duties &

Provides strategic analysis and solutions to BIPI senior
management regarding Diabetes Alliance commercial/development issues.

Serve as the BIPI primary interface with corporate Alliance Management on Diabetes Alliance
related projects. Provide business case analysis including acting as the point
person on daily communication with both counterparts of Lilly USA as well as BI
corporate head of Alliance Management.

Lead/ facilitate key Diabetes Alliance governance meetings. Lead
the prioritization and escalation of key Diabetes Alliance issues.

Develop resource plans, processes, and appropriate tools to
support Diabetes Alliance activities both in the short and long term. Establish
partnership mission and guiding principles (how success is defined) and act as
independent ombudsman for the Alliance (what is best for the patient).

Lead the establishment of integrated, transparent business
processes between the partners in order to ensure the teams meet the stated
objectives and goals of the Diabetes Alliance.

Identify, develop, and implement processes required to support the
Diabetes Alliance: Change Management; Communication; Budget reconciliation; and
Information Sharing.

Identify, gather and analyze relevant market information for the
business. Translate knowledge of business and industry into new ideas for
products or services. Translate the business strategy into a plan of action.
Align strategy into portfolio of initiatives and develop road-map for entire

Closely collaborate with Corporate RBM for US and other Corporate

Establish a consistent, repeatable process for tracking strategy
execution progress.

Develop proprietary understanding and data on market dynamics
(e.g., competitors, customers, technology), and identifies trends and market

Pharma industry knowledge,e.g., marketing/sales, product
development, business development

Excellent Judgment – regarding the “how”, “what”, and “when” of
addressing Alliance partners and key stakeholders with sensitive issues

Experience with a top consultancy firm, with focus on serving Life
Science clients. Proven track record in deepening existing client relationships
and/or in new business development.

Solid network of relationships within the Life Science industry.
Ability to develop further relationships within the Life Science network.

Proven experience and a strong understanding of what it takes to
succeed in project management.

Ability to build relationships on mid and senior executive level
and become a discussion partner and a trusted advisor on a broad range of
management topics.

Ability to provide quality control and guidance on projects.
Ability to oversee multiple projects running simultaneously.
