This position is located within the following department: Product Development
The successful candidate will assist the EHR Programming Manager in the overall management of the programming teams in an agile scrum environment and possess the ability to be a hands-on developer that can lead by example.
Coach and mentor team members (regardless of role – developer, tester, or product manager) on appropriate use of technology to address customer and business needs.
Develop and evolve practices for the development process.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements through testing.
Work with Product Management to ensure application development meets the requirements.
Assist as needed with User Story creation and task break down.
Remove impediments as needed by the production scrum teams.
Manage multiple projects, tasks and reactionary items.
Provide direction and governance to the teams ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
Be a liaison to other departments inside and outside the organization.
Required Education and Training
5+ years of commercial product development experience.
Java, Swing, Spring, Tomcat, Linux, Systemi, DB2, HTML4/5
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to provide a solution quickly and efficiently.
Demonstrated management capabilities.
Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task in fast pace environment.
Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate in both writing and verbally.
Ability to create/maintain supportive relationships with peers, clients, partners, and corporate executives.
