Overview:
DEFINITION

The primary focus of this position is to provide field-related safety expertise, guidance and support for safety and company injury and incident prevention efforts.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Key responsibilities include the following:
Implement EHS guidelines and best practices throughout area of responsibilities.

Conduct on-site inspections of well sites, construction projects, drilling sites,
completion sites, compressor stations, pipeline and company facilities to
ensure compliance with established company, federal, local and state safety

Assist in the identification, control, and elimination of unsafe acts and/or
conditions standards.

Assist in the investigation of incidents to determine root cause and follow-up with
corrective actions and preventative measures

Assist in the design of health and safety training for all levels of employees.

Assist in the development and implementation of safe standard work practices with
field personnel and monitor compliance.

Assist in the review of new products, equipment, and processes for potential hazards and
recommend modifications prior to introduction to the field.

Effectively partner with employees and supervisors to identify and resolve potential safety and health
hazards.

Deliver impactful communications (written and verbal) that significantly increase the level of
safety awareness and strengthen the safety culture throughout area of responsibilities.

Assist in the identification, control, and elimination of unsafe acts and/or
conditions standards.

Monitor safety and health performance; recommend priorities and associated action steps necessary for improvement.

Work with Atlas Management to coordinate and deliver programs to prevent injury and/or health impairment.

Conduct on-site inspections of well sites, construction projects, drilling sites,
completion sites, compressor stations, pipeline and company facilities to
ensure compliance with established company, federal, local and state safety Standards.

Assist in the investigation of incidents to determine root cause and follow-up with

Work with field employees and contractors to assure that sites are in compliance
with Federal, State and local regulations/requirements.

Provide safety training to employees and contractors when needed.

Prepare written safety related reports.

Participate in pre-drilling/pre-completion meetings and planning.

Assist with environmental/regulatory team issues.

Keep informed of pertinent regulatory and legislative changes.

Any other job-related duty as deemed appropriate by
management.

Qualifications & Work Environment:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Training, and Experience

Experience specific to oil & gas and safety required to include experience with Federal,
State and local regulatory agencies; 3-5 years preferred.
Preferably a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in occupational health and safety.

Strong operations background.

1. Thorough knowledge of safety and environmental laws, regulations and management principles applicable to drilling and completion for natural gas (OSHA, EPA).
2. Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.

4. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

chemicals, and work near moving mechanical parts. When in the office, there is no exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures.
