1st Solution has been engaged by a national urgent care, occupational health and primary care provider who is looking to add an EMR Product Manager to their team. In this role you will be responsible for the EMR and Patient Portal Product life cycle, and product roadmap. You will study business/clinical problems, define product direction, as well as establish and maintain strong business relationships with senior leadership and other resources (Product Development, Acquisition Team, Centers, and Business) and external clients to align product roadmap strategy with business needs.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop/prioritize business requirements, design, configuration, and enhancements request obtained from competitive analysis, user advisory groups, physician advisors, regulatory requirements and feedback from internal department.
• Asses regulatory requirements and changes such as those from CMS, HIPAA, Meaningful Use and state agencies in a proactive manner and determine if software changes are needed or required. Then work with business and vendor in planning changes to product design to comply where appropriate.
• Work with design validation team in developing testing scenarios and document/communicate any special testing requirements on individual projects. Review and approve test plans, training materials.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of BS degree in Nursing or Nursing Informatics; Masters’ degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a healthcare setting
• EMR product management experience with at least 3+ years of experience in Occupational medication as product manager or business analyst
• 6+ years experience working with Electronic Medical Record systems in an acute health care setting; preferably with Allscripts Enterprise 11.2
• Ability to convert strategic goals and objectives into plans and programs
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Current registration/license in the state where employed highly preferred
