The Maintenance Engineer positions main objectives are: improved assets reliability, reduced overall maintenance costs as well as coordinate maintenance activities and weekly execution activities of a sustainable maintenance schedule. Also will work under the direction of Maintenance Excellence Engineer with primary responsibility for reliability and maintainability (R&M) projects of broad scope and complexity.
Bachelor's degree in engineering field. 0-1 years maintenance / industrial field experience desired.
Ability to employ predictive maintenance technology (vibration analysis, infrared analysis, ultrasonic analysis, etc.) with electrical and electronic systems knowledge and experience is preferred.
Knowledge of working with CMMS programs as Maximo is preferred.
Previous experience in data gathering, evaluating and reporting performance metrics is preferred.
Good planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Fully Bilingual English and Spanish
Some knowledge with Statistical Process Control or Statistical Data Analysis is highly preferred.
Some knowledge working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Mental Abilities Required:
Ability to work with multiple priorities in a work environment with multiple interruptions.
Ability to walk throughout manufacturing facility and access platforms on ladders and climb around equipment is required.
Be able to qualify to wear respiratory protection.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
