Parsons Brinckerhoff has a need for an entry level Transportation Engineer to provide technical support on transportation design projects. The ideal candidate will have an educational background in highway and transit design principles and methodologies and a desire to engage in a wide range of activities encompassing planning and design of transportation infrastructure. Experience in AutoCAD and MicroStation is highly desirable. Specific duties include:
Geometric design of transportation facilities
Design of supporting elements; drainage, traffic, right-of-way
CAD layout and design support
Preparation of construction plans and documents
Preparation of design and analysis reports
Quantity and cost estimating
Coordination with other design disciplines
This individual will also assist in development of proposals, presentations and business development efforts.
Job Requirements
Minimum education requirement is a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University. EI certification preferred. Must have legal authorization to immediately work in the United States. Position requires candidates who currently resides within the United States. This position does not offer relocation assistance.
