Starting salary is $35,433.36 – $45,000.00 annually; commensurate within this range based on education and experience.

Manages and performs technical set-up and maintenance of the mannequin patient simulators and display-based simulators at all campus simulation sites. Controls, monitors and adjusts the mannequin and display-based simulators and associated peripheral equipment in the simulator rooms to maintain optimum performance. Maintain the hardware and software, including routine maintenance, installation of upgrades, moving and setting up/breaking down the mannequin simulator for classroom teaching, demonstrations and research projects.

Controls, monitors and adjusts the simulators and ancillary and audiovisual equipment to maintain optimum performance. Maintain the simulators’ hardware and software, including routine maintenance, installation of upgrades, moving and setting up/breaking down the simulators for classroom teaching, demonstrations and research projects.
Responsible for working with University faculty to identify educational and research objectives and design conceptual simulation scenarios and conduct simulation studies.
Evaluates current hardware and software capabilities. Designs software, electrical and mechanical modifications to the simulators and implements new simulator applications. Implement mechanical and software improvements/retrofits to the existing simulator hardware and software upgrades.
Teaches BLS / ACLS to medical students and offers demonstrations of medical simulation to a wide range of visitors.
Assist instructors with all facets of teaching including designing scenarios, scheduling sessions, assisting during the sessions and maintaining a student database if required.
Assists investigators with simulator-related research studies including design and implementation.
Maintains the simulator usage schedule and serve as contact person for all persons using the simulators. Maintains the simulator classroom including ancillary equipment such as the SmartBoard, setup/clean up for all sessions.
A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
