Position Title: ESL tutor

Academic Year grant position with possibility of extension

Goal: To support the academic success of English Language Learners

Itinerant position

40 weeks per year
- student attendance days
• Location
- district middle and high school
• Approximately 10+ hours per week (during the school day)

$10.00-14.00 per hour (based on qualifications)

Effective as soon as details can be arranged

- Spanish/English
• Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred

Provide tutoring assistance as needed to middle and high school ELL students who require support in their core classes.

Meet one-on-one with high school and middle school students to provide explanation on course material, provide assistance with work and support content learning.

Provide in class assistance for high school and middle school students by helping explain content.

Support classroom instruction as a push-in support for middle and high school students.
