Maintenance of the test equipment pool: Maintain and manage the TE
database to ensure all equipment is calibrated, repaired, tracked, and kept in
an updated version/revision level status. Assist with purchasing of new test
equipment, purchasing of software/hardware upgrades, renting of test equipment.
Experience with Microsoft operating systems, antivirus and productivity
software. Experience with PC and Peripheral support including Musti &
Prommer Boxes.

Work under the direction of the ESS Line manager to implement existing
Nokia standards for test equipment management.

Carry out responsibilities as delineated in the Nokia quality manual and
ISO 9000 specifications. Concerning Test and Measurement Equipment

Work as an integral team member in the ESS line. Attend regular Global
TE Asset Meetings – typically held after hours.

Scheduling calibration cycles, ensuring accurate records and logs are
kept re. Calibrations. Shipping and receiving of TE items (both new and repair
type) Ordering and renting of test equipment. Customer service interface for
calibrations, equipment allocation, repairs, and specifications. Assist in
general lab management responsibilities including movement of assets,
cleanliness of lab environment, enforcement of lab procedures, support of Lab
PCs and peripherals. Responsible for ordering and tracking TE orders for HW
Organization. Technical approver for all TE purchases. Assist all organizations
with TE requirements and order processing (requesting quotes).

Organize training sponsored by TE vendors.

Qualifications

Computer literacy including MS Office tools with heavy emphasis on Word,
Excel.

High degree of customer service skills

High degree of test equipment recognition

Medium degree of technical expertise

Medium degree of PC support knowledge

Ability to work in a flexible work environment

Familiarity with ISO 9000 requirements

Excellent communications skills

ESD awareness

Safety awareness concerning: compressed gasses, hazardous materials,
lifting restraints, movement of delicate equipment etc.

.Excellent command of the English language

Electronic Technician training

Test equipment calibration skills

Database admin skills

Sound understanding or purchasing practices

Familiar with BMC Remedy

Interface with vedors for new, used and repaired TE

Generate reports for management

Keen awareness of project functions and requirements concerning T&M equipment
