This opening is a professional position with primary responsibility for the analysis, design, development, and support of business intelligence applications with an emphasis on integrating disparate OLTP Business Applications to our Data Warehouse.
Candidate must be able to perform system analysis, schema design, and end to end development of data integration mappings using SSIS. Candidate should have design, development, and support experience with SQL data warehouse. Candidate should also have experience with SSAS development of MOLAP cubes. This will also include the full SDLC life cycle development of Data Warehouse Design, ODS Design, ETL integration design, ERD diagrams, OBIEE applications, reports, Essbase cubes as well as including design, build, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and support.
This position will also serve as our Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing liaison to the business end user community where you’ll gather requirements, train in the use of BI tools, and participate in data architecture and master data management.

Design, Develop, Test and Deploy ETL mappings using SSIS and SQL Server 2008 R2 database in support of an enterprise data warehouse.
Design, Develop, Test and Deploy OLAP cubes using SSAS and SQL 2008 R2 SQL Server data warehouse.
Have extensive knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2 database development language T-SQL with experience in development of stored procedures, functions, common table expressions, nested sub queries, indexed views, table partitioning, windowed functions, and aggregate functions.
Reverse engineer OLTP 3NF database designs into Modeled Business/Logical Table Relationships.
Design architecture diagrams for Entity Relationships of data warehouse / star schemas.
Assist with the design, development, testing, and documentation of BI/Reports to be delivered via Oracle’s OBIEE suite of reporting tools.
Perform gap analysis of disparate systems, manage metadata, and develop conforming dimensions, members, hierarchies, business calculations, elements, attributes based on business requirements.
5+ years overall BI/DW experience including: data modeling, multi-dimensional modeling, ETL Development using SSIS, and metadata development.
Must have a strong working knowledge of T-SQL and database schema design and ETL disciplines (including ability to performance tune SQL queries and possess good working knowledge of OLAP cubes.)
Experience in leading several full life cycle implementations and have an understanding of all aspects of an implementation project including, but not limited to, planning, analysis and design, configuration, development, conversions, system testing, cutover and production support.
Must be able to function independently, or as a team member, and have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
A broad knowledge of design, function, and characteristics of database design, and development.
B.S. or B.A. in business, computer science, or information systems; professional certification in database administration preferred. Relevant experience with non-analytical degree or equivalent professional training may be substituted.
Prior Report Development experience in OBIEE (or Hyperion, BRIO, SSRS, Crystal Reports or Cognos BI, etc…) is a plus.
Experience with BI server and the Interactive Dashboard.
Strong PC skills with a working knowledge Microsoft Office suite, with strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
