The Environmental Services Aide cleans the Hospital environment, moves office furniture, sets up meetings and other duties as assigned under the direct supervision of the Director of Environmental Services. Promotes cooperation, a positive attitude and creates a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff. Responsible for knowing and adhering to established Hospital policies and procedures, including all aspects of safety.
Candidate must have good time management skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be customer service oriented and have the ability to work in a team environment. The candidate must have the ability to speak, read, write English and comprehend written and oral instructions. Lift a minimum of 30 lbs. Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and the following shifts: 7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM and 11 PM - 7 AM.
