Responsible for the high cleanliness standards on all three shifts (24 hrs) of all public areas; including casino floor and support facilities (special and continuous attention to all restrooms), hotel lobby, convention center, and all restaurants and bars, --front of the house areas.
It is recommended that the EVS Manager works the peak days—Fri and Sat—as well as special events/casino promo days, during the peak hrs. 12 noon to 8 pm.
Reports to Facilities Superintendent.
Supervises EVS Supervisors, EVS Leads, and Custodians.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the hiring, training, productivity and evaluation of all EVS Supervisors, EVS Leads, and Custodian line employees.
Assures that all custodial (EVS) employees are well informed to handle any customer inquiries in a knowledgeable, friendly and courteous manner, adhere to our established EVS Service Standards and are evaluated/monitored accordingly.
Responsible that all special cleaning projects are performed as scheduled—
Ongoing carpet deep cleaning and terrazzo floor maintenance.
Closely coordinates with the hotel Executive Housekeeper, Convention Center Manager, Food & Beverage Director and Casino Management regarding any specific cleaning needs in their respective areas.
Schedules at least one monthly “inspection walk –thru” with the GM of Resort Operations and the GM of Casino Operations.
Responsible that all cleaning equipment and machinery is accounted for daily, is kept clean and in good working condition and that required machine routine or preventive maintenance is performed on schedule.
Responsible that the departmental payroll remains within budget and —that all EVS employees are scheduled properly per shift, to assure that our high cleanliness standards are met.
Responsible that the EVS cleaning supplies remain within budget, are properly
Secured/controlled and utilized in a productive matter.
Keeps the Facilities Superintendent informed on a timely basis of any out of the ordinary occurrences
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of operation of tools used in the performance of environmental services housekeeping.
Ability to develop, prepare and maintain office reports and records.
Ability to maintain an equipment operating supply inventory.
Knowledge of general safety rules, requirements, procedures, and reporting requirements.

Ability to maintain overall custodial supplies used in the Resort and Casino operations.

Knowledge of all aspects of custodial services.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
High School or GED equivalent.
Three (3) years of responsible experience in an environmental services work environment.
Three (3) years supervisory experience required.
Valid New Mexico Driver’s license
An insurable driving record.
Must be able to successfully pass a Background Investigation.
