Viacom Media Networks is currently conducting a search for an Executive Assistant to support the day to day operations of the EVP, Development and Original Programming, TV Land.


• Cover multiple line department phones
• Schedule on-site meetings, manage calendar and arrange business lunches
• Prepare expense reports via SAP and Market financial systems
• Create and maintain computer files for press releases, photos and other press materials
• Create and maintain office hard paper files, including clipping and magazines
• Coordinate mailings for press kits and materials
• Maintain accurate mailing lists
• Interface with messenger center, mail room and courier service
• Order and maintain departmental supplies
• Partner with manager/directors to create and distribute launch clips and reels
• Process and following up on departmental billing
• Assist with coordinating talent press junkets and photo shoots
• Accompany talent to internal and external events
• Daily research on internet of key media press placements
• Create weekly online/print press packets for distribution to the press teams
• Update press website with current publicity photos and releases

• B.A. Degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field
• 2 to 4 years experience in Television Communications, Public Relations, and/or Media Relations
• Strong writing, research and computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
• Interest in and knowledge of Television Business, including; ratings, emerging technologies, web and digital entertainment.
• Must be an independent and strategic thinker, able to take initiative and follow through on projects
• Willingness to work some weekends and evenings, as needed
