EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Reads and routes incoming mail. Schedules appointments, gives information to callers and relieves Group Vice President of clerical work and minor administrative and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Exudes outstanding customer service.

Manages supervisor's calendar and schedules appointments.

Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds when possible.

Personally serve any requests from Directors and above like it came from the GVP of Marketing.

Prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies to supervisory workers, and monitors compliance.

Arranges programs, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budget.

Directs preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings.

Files correspondence and other records.

Creates and maintains spreadsheet files.

Answers telephones / emails and gives information to callers / person emailing or routes call / emails to appropriate official and places outgoing calls

Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings, and accompanies supervisor when requested.

Schedules appointments, manages Executive’s daily schedule and makes decisions pertaining to Executive’s schedule and work demands. Protects Executive’s time. Updates Executive on issues which need to be immediately addressed.

Greets visitors and accompanies visitors to Executive or appropriate person.

Handles routine tasks on behalf of executive.

Assists others with telephone coverage on a daily basis.

Sets up lunch for meetings on a weekly basis.

Assist all Directors in the Marketing Department with projects/duties as needed.

Co-chair Harris Teeter’s Community Cares campaign.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Assists with sales meetings.

Assists with golf tournaments.

Proof and send out HT daily.

Monthly maintenance walks with GVP of Marketing (conference rooms, lobby)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and four years related experience and/or training.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient and will be tested on excel, outlook, power point and word.
