o The Moss Street Children's Center at the University of Oregon Erb Memorial Union invites applications for part-time (.25 FTE), intermittent Substitute Teacher (Early Childhood Assistant).
o Moss Street Children's Center is an early child development program which primarily serves children, aged 3 months to eleven years, of UO students. Approximately 200 children are served at our on-campus site. Center hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional weekend hours; substitutes must be available to work at least half of the open hours.
o Th1s is a classified position represented by SEIU local 503, Oregon Public Employees Union. Because this position works less than half-time, it is not eligible for employee benefits, but is eligible for pro-rated vacation, sick, and holiday leave.
o Due to budgetary shortfalls, the person appointed to this position will be required to take some unpaid furlough days between date of hire and June 30, 2013.

This position assists lead teachers in a child care program and assumes the responsibilities of the lead teacher in his or her absence. Duties include:
