Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires ten equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
Successful applicants will have demonstrated analytic and presentation skills, be proficient with Earned Value Management (EVM) systems software tools (for example, wInsight) and have an extensive knowledge of EVM industry standards and practices. Applicant should be proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). A working knowledge of EVM concepts, analysis, and techniques, excellent verbal and written communication, and quantitative analytical skills is required. A Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Program Management Institute is preferred.
Applicants will have the ability to lead EVM system implementation activities, work autonomously or in a team environment working closely with government staff personnel, government program office teams, and contractors. EVM and Program Control experience are required, preferably with Department of Defense, Navy, or Federal Aviation Administration programs. Experience with large-scale shipbuilding programs is a plus.
The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
This position will provide evaluations and analyses of government/contractor EVM reports, and advise project managers on cost and schedule activities. Primary responsibilities will be to lead/perform earned value analysis, provide oversight, lead/participate in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) activities, perform schedule analysis, develop ad-hoc EVM reports, perform rate analysis, perform contract analysis, write technical reports, prepare briefings for the customer and prepare management reports.
