Reporting to the Benefits Group editorial director, the Editor in Chief is responsible for all content published under the market-dominant EBN brand – including textual content, rich and social media content and ranging from staff-created, to aggregated to contributed. In addition to showing a successful progression of editorial responsibility, the Editor in Chief must be or must quickly become an authority on the employee benefits industry. Leveraging this knowledge, the Editor in Chief must become the brand’s internal and external ambassador, a source of information to colleagues across the company and to the brand’s external constituencies. In addition to ensuring that all of the brand’s content is delivered to the company’s standards, the Editor in Chief is responsible for ensuring that the brand’s editorial and content development activities are aligned with its business strategy.
