The Environmental Law Institute seeks an energetic, self-starting, highly motivated individual to be the Editorial Assistant and Customer Service Manager.

ELI seeks a full-time, entry-level Editorial Assistant and Customer Service Manager to summarize congressional, state, and international developments for the Environmental Law Reporter® (ELR); to handle general customer service inquiries for our books and two of our periodicals, ELR and the National Wetlands Newsletter®; to manage royalty payments to its book authors; and to manage sales and marketing efforts for the periodicals and books.

(1) demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks using basic computer software; (2) superior interpersonal and organizational skills; (3) excellent writing skills; (4) ability to manage several tasks with limited supervision; and (5) desire to support ELI’s mission of advancing environmental protection by improving law, policy and management.
Salary: $30,000-40,000, depending upon experience, with excellent benefits.
