Friend University seeks a data collection specialist for the Education Data Coordinator position in our Education department. The main role of this position is to assist in the coordination of the functions of the Education Unit in order to meet accreditation requirements. This position will work with faculty, adjunct instructors, and Pre-K through 12 profession education personnel to collect data for annual and period reporting and review purposes as well as accreditation. This position will work with a variety of database and spreadsheet software as well as the University's main ERP. This position will maintain the bookkeeping of the department by assisting with budget preparation, accounts payable and purchasing. This position has no supervisory duties.
High school diploma is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Demonstrated bookkeeping experience required. Experience working with data collection and data entry required. Record-keeping experience as well as experience working simultaneously with many databases preferred. Familiarity with FileMaker Pro and the Microsoft Office Suite of products (including Access) required. Candidates selected for interview may be required to take competency tests related to customer service, Microsoft Office, and data entry. Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner is required.
