Reports to the K12 Inside Region Manager. Responsible for driving sales growth in assigned territory from Apple Core & Development Accounts as defined by Education Sales Ops. The Apple K12 Account Executive is responsible for increasing revenues from Apple’s existing customer base. Account Execs will be expected to maintain and grow sales in Apple’s K12 Core accounts, and to gain significant increases in sales from Apple’s K12 Development accounts.The successful Account Executive will be proficient at : Understanding the organizational structure, decision making process, and political considerations in Apple’s existing K12 accountsCalling and influencing at the all levels in their accountsUnderstanding the needs and issues facing Apple’s existing K12 accountsUnderstanding and influencing the funding situation in Apple’s K12 accountsDeveloping account plans with assigned field AE(s) that incorporate Apple-based solutions to meet the customers needsCreating sales opportunities and projects to increase sales and establish a dominant share position in Apple’s K12 accounts, and presenting and selling 1:1 computing into K12 marketplaceIn addition, the Apple Account Executive must be able to : Articulate and effectively present Apple’s education leadership messagesApply Apple’s Complex Sales methodology to close opportunities accountsWork as an effective part of their sales team with AE’s, DE’s, SE’s, iSE’s, and SIGs, as needed and appropriateWork with internal teams in a positive effective manner; ie; SSO, AR, AFS, SW, Services, and the FSE team, and smoothly take ownership of accounts from the K12 Acquisition Rep after the account begins to purchase from Apple based on the criteria set by Education ops.Finally, K12 Account Executives will be required to : Provide accurate and timeline pipeline and forecast informationProvide timely and accurate administrative activities and sales activity reportingAchieve their goals in both Core and Development accounts, and achieve all goals as defined by management for revenue, units, and line-of-business Imagine what you could do here.
