Under limited supervision, collaborates with Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) staff and other stakeholders to produce and support federal and state accountability systems such as the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI). Duties include, but are not limited to, researching accountability issues and the impact on the agency’s mission including compliance with federal and state laws; incorporating the student growth model in the annual CCRPI calculations; ensuring the accuracy of the data posted on the CCRPI reports; supporting schools, LEAs, and other stakeholders in understanding and interpreting the CCRPI reports, data, and calculations; and representing the Accountability Team on several committees.
Master’s degree in education or a related field and three years of professional K-12 education experience. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must hold Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification. Note: Must submit a copy of GaPSC certification with resume and cover letter or with application. Applicants who fail to submit the required documentation will not be considered.
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualification, possess one or more of the following:
• School level or district level leadership experience
• Understanding of CCRPI indicators and calculations
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Pay grade 18 – Annual range $47,280.21 (minimum) to $82,962.30 (maximum). Hiring salary is commensurate with current employment, relevant education/training and work experience, salary history, and available funding.
