This position is located in the Leadership Training Division (LTD), Leadership and Management School (LMS), Foreign Service Institute (FSI). The incumbent serves as an expert in adult education methodologies, leadership development, leadership/management training, course design, and organizational development. The incumbent of this position is responsible for the performance of duties involved in carrying out the functional responsibilities of the Division.
Incumbent will be subject to random drug testing.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Relocation expenses will NOT be paid.

Deliver training programs, courses, seminars, workshops and presentations on leadership and management for personnel of the State Department and other USG foreign affairs agencies. Provide training expertise related to leadership development, management skills, supervisory training and interpersonal effectiveness for Civil Service and Foreign Service personnel. Conduct stand-up training, facilitate learning activities, employ adult learning principles, deliver sessions, provide resources and advise students. Design and evaluate programs, courses, and activities that focus on leadership, management and supervisory training for personnel of the Department and other foreign affairs agencies. Design new courses and update existing course designs and training programs. Contribute actively to a standard of excellence in carrying out the Leadership and Management School's mission of promoting leadership development. Serve as facilitator and internal consultant to other offices of the Department.

Experience in facilitating discussions, meetings, and training group activities; evaluating training, analyzing evaluation data, writing reports and developing recommendations; providing individual coaching and/or internal organizational development services; actively collaborating and contributing to effective teamwork as part of a training team
