Position: Medicaid Administrative Claim (MAC) Specialist
The MAC Specialist works in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environment as part of a growing team consisting of consulting and operations staff. The team's goal is to provide superior service to school districts and state agencies in the area of federal Medicaid reimbursement.
The MAC Specialist reports to consulting staff and plays a key role in supporting all tasks related to Medicaid claiming. The position requires an attention to detail and ability to quickly learn and implement federal and state regulations. This position focuses on compliance; customer service; and data collection and analysis.
Provide superior customer service to clients.
Assist school districts in submitting electronic and survey data.
Analyze quarterly survey responses, determining billing codes and compliance.
· Communicate with software developers (as needed) to correct bugs in client facing systems.
Train school district users to use PCG systems and technologies from approved training programs.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data.
Excellent ability to build and maintain business relationship with clients by providing prompt and accurate service.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
A Bachelor's Degree is required.
Schools (K-12) or Special Education experience is a plus.
Some travel required.
