Educator, Researcher and Outreach Liaison for CI Program

Updates current CI protocols and creates additional protocols and guidelines for newly developed CI outreach programs. Acts as CI program liaison to outside educators, audiologists, speech pathologists and physicians involved in the care of CI patients. Assists the CI staff in marketing the Cochlear Implant Program though annual seminars and community outreach programs.
Education: Masters (MS or MA) or PhD in Augiology or Speech Pathology
License/Certification: Speech Language Pathology and/or Audiology License.
Experience: 5 years experience working with cochlear implant patients through the pre and post implant process. Prefer SLP or Audiologist who has been working in a clinical setting. Experience with creating patient goals, test procedures to evaluate and monitor patient's progress. Preferred experience compiling outcome data for patients.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Compiling Patient Data and putting research in context
Proven experience withpublished research with result in major journals and/or presentations
CCS Paneling prefered, but not required
Sit: Up to 8 hours/day

Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 8 hrs
Lift/Push/Pull: 15 lbs
