Today, we are proud to offer a long-term contract position for an Electric Vehicle Regional Manager at Nissan North America in Franklin, TN.
Kelly Engineering Resources is currently seeking a talented individual who will enjoy the responsibility of supporting the electric vehicle (EV) marketing readiness initiatives at Nissan North America.
In this contract role, you will influence key stakeholder groups in Eastern US to implement EV market readiness initiatives in their areas, including deployment of public charging infrastructure, expediting permitting and inspection for installation of home EVSE units, adoption of cash and convenience incentives to encourage EV adoption and general EV education and outreach efforts.
Your responsibilities in support of In-Market EV readiness activities will include:
1. Representing the NNA EV team in the assigned EV launch markets
2. Working with Nissan???s partners (governments, utilities, companies) to secure market readiness objectives, educate key stakeholders on product technology, infrastructure development and funding, support partners as necessary with meeting presentations, use of LEAFs, transportation logistics, reservations/orders of LEAF units and other ad hoc requests
3. Extend the reach of the EV market readiness team into smaller markets; work autonomously in smaller markets in the assigned region to support market readiness and business objectives
4. Coordinate, Communicate, and Reporting (Regional Stakeholders, NNA, and Nissan Region) on a regular basis to develop a well integrated and focused execution plan, develop and manage the project master schedule and track KPIs for all EV activities in the region, develop regular status reports for NNA-EV steering committee, develop project management tools to measure the progress and to ensure on time delivery of the assigned projects, coordinate activities with the S&M EVOM, other regional personnel and functions to ensure a seamless EV market expansion, manage use of C-Plan LEAF
Minimum competence /interest requirements include:
Bachelor's Degree
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent presentation and project management skills
Be available up to 50% travel in Southeast Region
10 or more years directly related professional level Marketing / Sales and/or Product Development experience, preferably in the automotive industry
Experience working with government entities or utilities strongly desired
Microsoft Office Word, Powerpoint, Excel proficiency Intermediate and above
