DeNuke Services is currently seeking candidates for the following openings:
Electrical Analysis Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 + mos
Per Diem: Yes
BS in Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology plus minimum of 10 years of related engineering experience in the nuclear power industry.
Nuclear plant power systems design knowledge with a focus on electrical analysis and calculations. Engineer needs to be able to work independent on calculations such as cable sizing, breaker sizing, voltage drop, and short-circuit using software and/or by hand calculations.
Must be independent and a self-starter. Needs to be willing to own concepts and with minimal direction develop detailed plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the use of MS Office products.
Excellent planning and organization skills.
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:
Knowledge and experience in nuclear plant electrical systems and current industry issues and initiatives.
Main and Emergency Diesel Generator experience. Able to use ETAP Software to analyze EDG voltage regulator and governor.
DC systems (including batteries and UPS/Inverters) experience. Specifically able to use ETAP program for modeling and able to run and understand analyses results.
Electrical Analysis for nuclear electrical power systems. Ability to use ETAP Software to model, coordination, load flow, short circuit, and motor starting condition)
