The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the development and documentation of wiring, harness design, and schematic diagrams for mining equipment. Experience or expertise shall be needed to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and have the ability to meet strict timelines.
In addition, you will:
Understand, derive, and integrate electrical and mechanical requirements from subsystems design specifications into a complete mining equipment system level design
Harness design, implementation, and maintenance in mining equipment electrical designs
Be responsible for the design and content of the mining equipment electrical schematic
Lead and participate in design reviews
Work with system engineers, electrical design, mechanical design, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues that can impact production schedules
Lead and direct teams of multi-disciplinary personnel to achieve team goals
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design, development of harness and schematics
Strong drive for meeting internal and external customer requirements
Motivated and self-starter
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design
Ability to work with manufacturing and shop production effectively
Experience utilizing electronic tools to develop electrical schematics and wire lists
Highly organized and close attention-to-detail
