Education:
Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge) and 5 years directly related experience.

Preferred previous work experience includes electrical/electronic engineering experience in a development or manufacturing environment.

Job Specific Knowledge:
Knowledge necessary to perform job includes: thorough knowledge of electrical engineering design, troubleshooting to component level, AC Distribution design methodology, and documentation of AC Distribution and power controls knowledge;
General knowledge of mechanical and software engineering disciplines;
Hands-on working knowledge of electrical CAD tools (E3s, AUTOCAD and UG NX), thorough understanding and utilization of engineering documentation;
Understanding of product and business requirements;
General knowledge of appropriate materials, components and technologies used in the semiconductor equipment industry.

Responsibilities:
Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release.
Coordinate the procurement and assembly of electrical/electronic components/equipment.
Perform and generate engineering test reports.
Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics, and/or detailed drawings/specifications of limited difficulty under direct supervision.
Troubleshoot electrical problems of very limited difficulty.
Effective use of engineering processes in the resolution of electrical problems of very limited difficulty.
