SBM Atlantia, Inc. is currently recruiting for Electrical Designers II. In this capacity, you will be responsible for: Preparing technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements for floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) systems; conferring with engineers to discuss existing or potential engineering projects; coordinating manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements; designing implementing, maintaining, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for FPSO systems; producing and reviewing design drawings and materials lists in support of engineering activities for FPSO; developing enhanced FPSO products for LNG production, gas commercialization using a compact gas to liquids process, and ultra-heavy oil production; performing detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications; actively coordinating with engineers and other designers to efficiently produce quality products within the project budget; applying design fundamentals, selecting and recommending procedures in design, and preparing designs for engineering approval; independently developing design as part of the project team; reviewing drawings produced by other designers to assure conformance with all requirements.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in electrical design. In lieu, will accept five (5) years of experience in the job offered or (5) years of experience in electrical design.
