Drafter – Electrical: ability to operate Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer software, including creating and modifying electrical drawings. This person will also need to have the ability to perform tests while documenting and creating necessary reports about them and demonstrate manufacturing processes behind them.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

A thorough understanding of electrical schematic CAD software and other pertinent software used in Engineering

Experience creating and maintaining CAD drawings for all electrical designs

Experience in writing technical documentation as required

Responsible for some electrical system design

Experience with UL and CE regulations

Experience with PLC’s preferred but not required

Ability to assemble prototypes to ensure function and manufacturability

Ability to answer questions from production regarding prints

2-year technical degree

Minimum of 2-years of electrical CAD experience
