Experience with Build, hardcore hardware design engineering.
Candidates must be familiar with Allegro/Orcad/Cadence, schematic capture and layout.
Ability to do circuit design and simulation.
Familiarity with HDI PCB design.
Good analog and digital experience.
Experience in a commercial environment with design for cost.
Experience with some or our interfaces including USB, Serial, I2C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi.
You must be hands-on circuit developer that can be given assignments and will be self-directed to accomplish the tasks.
Experience with firmware.
Experience writing Windows programs.
5+ years experience
Experience with designing, building, and troubleshooting mixed-signal systems (will also look at talented engineers with just the digital or analog side)
o Plus if experienced with human interfaces: capacitive sensing, force or pressure sensing, gesture sensing
o Plus if Retail consumer electronics experience
Analog design: op-amps, discrete transistor circuits, power circuits, high voltage
Digital design: microcontrollers
o Plus if experienced with firmware development
Experienced with driving the design process:
o Specifying and selecting parts
o Schematic capture
o Layout (managing layout services)
o Kitting parts and driving fab
Smart, keenly interested in innovating in new spaces, with cost and space constraints, implementing brand new experiences
o Able to develop unique and new solutions
Able to work independently with only top-level direction
Able to delegate to technicians (through manager) to amplify work
