Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Skills:
• Candidates must be familiar with Allegro/Orcad/Cadence, schematic capture and layout.

• Ability to do circuit design and simulation.

• Familiarity with HDI PCB design.

• Good analog and digital experience.

• Experience in a commercial environment with design for cost.

• Experience with some or our interfaces including USB, Serial, I2C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi.

• You must be hands-on circuit developer that can be given assignments and will be self-directed to accomplish the tasks.

• Experience with firmware.

• Experience writing Windows programs.

• 5+ years’ experience

• Experience with designing, building, and troubleshooting mixed-signal systems (will also look at talented engineers with just the digital or analog side)

o Plus if experienced with human interfaces: capacitive sensing, force or pressure sensing, gesture sensing

o Plus if Retail consumer electronics experience

• Analog design: op-amps, discrete transistor circuits, power circuits, high voltage

• Digital design: microcontrollers

o Plus if experienced with firmware development

• Experienced with driving the design process:
o Specifying and selecting parts

o Schematic capture

o Layout (managing layout services)

o Kitting parts and driving fab

o Bring-up

• Smart, keenly interested in innovating in new spaces, with cost and space constraints, implementing brand new experiences

o Able to develop unique and new solutions

• Able to work independently with only top-level direction

• Good communicator

• Able to delegate to technicians (through manager) to amplify work

• Personality: positive attitude and interested in the work, ready to buckle down at crunch time

Education: BSEE/MSEE.
