We are currently seeking a highly professional and motivated Electrical Engineer to perform a variety of EE responsibilities. Qualified candidates will have experience with the total end-to-end process of capturing, designing, testing, manufacturing, and life-cycle support of electronic systems. Additionally, they will assist with special projects as assigned by the engineering team.

This position is located in Portland, Oregon and will be approximately 40 hours per week. There is the possibility for travel within the continental US for short durations to support integration and validation on customer premises.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions of the role:
  • Circuit design, schematic entry, and circuit card layout of high-speed digital electronic systems.
  • Requirements development, VHDL code development, test bench development, synthesis, and timing analysis of FPGA systems.
  • Troubleshooting, support of acceptance testing, and field support of deployed system.
  • Work in small interdisciplinary development teams and interface efficiently with software and mechanical engineers.

Qualifications (KSA’s):
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of experience
  • Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Motivated, self-starter with ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work in a professional, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a United States citizen per ITAR regulations and be able to pass a background check.
Working Conditions:
  • This position requires sitting for long periods of time, extensive computer and phone use.
  • There may be a need to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, stand for long for short periods of time lift and carry approximately 50 pounds.
  • The area of work is in a general office environment and stress is likely to occur.
