ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING INTERN
CTC is looking for qualified interns for an Electrical Engineering internship program. The selected candidate will assist our engineers in providing advanced power and energy solutions for our clients. Our energy team provides innovative technical solutions using the right technology for the right application.
Responsibilities of the selected candidate will include participating in a team environment, focused on energy solutions with a specific focus on integrating various new and emerging energy technologies. Tasks will include report writing; creating graphs and charts from the information; data base research and development with a focus on system requirements and output. Additional activities include supporting technology demonstration activities, researching new/improved energy technologies, and supporting engineers in various electrical design activities. This position will require basic engineering knowledge, research and database development skills. The candidate may also be required to periodically support general technology research. The qualified candidate will gain valuable experience that will position them for their career in the engineering field.
The qualified candidate must be working towards a Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering. Candidate should have good personal computer skills, be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), and possess an aggressive results-oriented work ethic as well as the flexibility and desire to learn and grow within the electrical engineering field. Attributes also desired are a working knowledge or interest in waste to energy technologies. Additionally, working knowledge of software applications such as Labview, AutoCAD, Programmable Logic Controllers programming, and Matlab are a plus.
