Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance to field personnel in the areas of high voltage distribution equipment and high voltage motors
• Plan, coordinate, and manage preventive maintenance activities on high voltage equipment during turnarounds
• Respond and provide technical assistance to high voltage problems within the facilities
• Direct and oversee vendor shop repairs on high voltage motors and equipment to ensure quality
• Issue repair reports at the conclusion of critical jobs for proper historical documentation
• Identify spare parts strategies, assist in specification of spare equipment and monitor the spare parts stocking
• Manage/assist in analysis and ensure follow-up on predictive data (coordination studies, relay tests, thermography, PD testing, megger tests, oil gas analysis, etc.)
• Perform Arc-Flash studies
• Identify engineered resolutions to recurring electrical issues
• Improve plant/equipment reliability through historical trending and improved maintenance procedures
• Lead and participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and Vulnerability studies for electrical issues
• Execute equipment maintenance strategies (predictive and preventive)
• Modify maintenance strategies as necessary based upon the RCFA and VS results
• Ensure adherence to internal standards or identify new standards for maintaining equipment
• Assist in writing equipment component repair specifications
• Assist in qualifying vendor repair facilities
• Take the lead in training, coaching, and mentoring field technicians and operations staff in the preventative maintenance and operation of electrical distribution and control systems
• Manage and mentor the electrical technicians

General Requirements:
• 100% compliance with Safety and Environmental standards
• Compliance with all Air Liquide standards and government regulations
• Reliability and availability of high voltage equipment
• Documentation of critical repairs
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required
• 5 or more years of electrical engineering experience in industrial plant facilities
• Good understanding of medium/high voltage motors and distribution systems
• Good understanding of electrical predictive maintenance techniques
• Good planning, organizational, and communication skills
