Sanimax is currently looking for a motivated, career-oriented Electrical Technician. This is a full-time position working a compressed work week (rotating 12s). Candidate must be flexible to accommodate business needs and be willing to work overtime if needed. Pay is competitive. Company paid training and uniforms provided. GREAT benefit package offered 1 st of the month after 30 days.

We are continuously updating and automating our process. This position plays an important role in implementing and maintaining these upgrades. Duties include, but not limited to, performing minor to major troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of equipment. The ideal candidate will be team oriented, and have a proven ability to complete repairs safely and in a timely manner.

Job Duties

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and install electrical equipment and systems having complex interrelated circuits such as generators, transformers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units or other transmission equipment. This includes computerized production equipment.
  • Install, modify, maintain and repair electronic controls and devices by interpreting blueprints and electrical schematic drawings.
  • Connect power unit to machines, and test unit to evaluate its mechanical & electrical operation. (Panel wiring, machine wiring & motor wiring)
  • Replace/repair motors, performs electrical adjustments and electrical repairs
  • Perform both basic and complex preventative maintenance as well as major repairs to equipment and systems.

  • Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required with coursework in electrical programming or technology preferred.
  • 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience is ideal.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machines.
  • Must be able to understand and work from schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Able to use diagnostic equipment, including manufacturers’ service specifications.
  • State certified license desired.
