Salary is negotiable based on qualifications. This employee performs skilled/manual work functions associated with high voltage electrical services in Water Reclamation & Treatment in the Department of Watershed Management.
Examples Of Essential Duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to: installing and repairing electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment; troubleshooting electrical problems; monitoring systems for proper operation; and maintaining the shop area; installs control and distribution apparatus; tests continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components; observes operation of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and identify need for adjustment or replacement; troubleshoots potential electrical/power problems; responds to requests for service; etc.
High school diploma or GED and four years of experience as a professional Electrician in areas including commercial and/or industrial electrical work. Equivalent combination of training and experience will be determined under prescribed guidelines. Applicants for this position must possess a valid driver's license at the time of application. A valid Georgia driver's license must be presented for verification at the time of appointment.
A State of Georgia Electrical Contractor Non-Restricted License is required.
