Installs, tests and repairs electrical components and power distribution circuits. Knowledge of electrical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and state approved electrician apprenticeship or equivalent with courses in blueprint reading, mathematics, communication, safety, schematic reading and knowledge of electrical systems. An Associate/Technical School Degree in Industrial Electronics with courses in blueprint reading, mathematics and physics beneficial. Five years of experience as an electrician with a background in industrial and commercial construction and maintenance necessary to enhance and develop skills. Current CPR certification necessary.
