Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to work from blue prints, technical diagrams, or instructions from supervisor
Safely work with sharp or rough materials using sharp tools and power equipment and work in situations where they might slip or fall
Ability to organize assigned tasks for completion alone or with help
Ability to complete and fulfill paperwork required for personal time sheets in a timely manner
Measure, mark and arrange materials
Ability to identify and estimate the quantity of materials needed to complete a job
Accurately estimate how long a job will take to complete
Follow all applicable codes
High school graduate/GED with at least two years of experience in facilities repairs/maintenance. Must possess a valid NYS Drivers License.
Electrician's License required. Successful candidate must join
