The Electronic Engineer is responsible for the development, creation and testing of electronic devices throughout the production phase from conception through prototype testing. This includes advanced circuit design and troubleshooting, including firmware.

Responsibilities:
Discussing proposals with clients
Working with colleagues to design new systems, circuits and devices or develop existing technologies
Testing theoretical designs
Writing specifications and technical reports
Following defined development processes
Systematically improving the detailed design of specified electronic equipment
Ensuring that a product will work with devices developed by others, can be made again reliably, and will perform consistently in specified operating environments
Creating user-friendly interfaces
Attending meetings with co-workers and sub-contractors
Keeping up-to-date with developments in technologies and regulations

Qualifications:
Required Job Skills and Experience:
Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field
5+ years circuit board design, test systems, and repair experience
Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, and troubleshoot equipment failures
Familiarity with both digital and analog circuits
Advanced soldering and desolding skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, especially related to writing and presenting technical reports

Desired Job Skills and Experience:
Board level repair experience down to the component level
Wind Energy experience
Power electronics design experience
