    The Electronic Health Record ( EHR) Supervisor serves as the leader of the Chelsea EHR Support Team. This role includes implementation, training and supports the adoption and use of the NextGen Electronic Health Record. Identifies and develops initiatives for enhanced customer service to align with EHR initiatives. P rovides active and pro-active learning activities reaching all users (including Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners) of the electronic medical record focused on successful individual proficiency of clinical and business workflow and processes in the ambulatory environment. Coordinates learning activities with other educator/trainer activities consistent with the educational goals established. Aligns activities using educational concepts of assessing, planning, facilitating, implementing, and evaluating learning effectiveness. Demonstrates competency with understanding ambulatory clinical and business functions. Works in collaboration with Trinity Information Systems.


    Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two to four years progressive experience in Electronic Health Record systems, office management or customer service. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to comfortably interact with diverse populations. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with a strong customer-service orientation. Ability to handle patient and organizational information in a confidential manner. Ability to demonstrate competency with standard desktop and Windows-based computer systems, including a basic understanding of email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation. Ability to use other software as required to perform the essential functions of the job, including spreadsheets, websites, etc. Strong project management skills required.
