My client, a leading global investment bank, is looking to make a strategic hire for a business analyst to deliver on a portfolio of new projects for the interest rates electronic trading business. This is a highly visible permanent position based in New York City and will pay a base salary between 120-160k depending on the candidate's level of experience (plus excellent bonus and benefits opportunity).
The candidate will sit within a technology division responsible for delivering solutions for rates electronic trading. As the business analyst for the e-trading business, you will take responsibility with facing off to senior business leaders to define and document requirements, working closely with developers and other business analysts to ensure business requirements are delivered, and ultimately be accountable for ensuring project deliverables are met.
In order to qualify for this exciting new position, you should meet the following criteria:
Experience in business analysis for a leading investment banks specifically in the front office fixed income domain (experience with electronic, algo or high frequency trading is ideal)
Extensive experience facing off with front office business users
Basic understanding of object oriented development, SQL and Unix environemnts
