Job Description:

The Systems Development Center currently has a need for a Senior EW Systems engineer in the EW RF Systems Architecture Section. The Senior EW Systems Engineer supports with expertise in Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Surveillance (ES) and the related systems engineering design and analysis. The Senior EW System engineer is responsible for end to end system requirements definition from program conception to sell off.

This person will have a solid understanding and an ability to build RF chains and performance models, as well as perform throughput, timing and sizing analysis. The ideal candidate will write and manage the specifications for electrical subsystems. Create and manage interface control drawings and coordinate with integration and test teams to ensure prototype hardware and test fixtures are designed to support overall system verification. Candidate will ensure two way communications across the systems engineering and design teams and serve as the day to day liaison to the design teams.

Required Skills:
·
Minimum of 6 years of systems, electrical or related experience
·
Experience creating and maintaining performance budgets, con ops, mission analysis, systems architecture and processing
·
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Electronic Attack and Electronic Support systems in particular
·
Experience with RF hardware in either design or test engineering
·
Experience in requirements development and systems engineering
·
Experience with Matlab, DOORS/SLATE, Rhapsody or other database requirements tools
·
Existing DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
·
Experience with active AESA Active Electronically Scanning Arrays
  • Experience with Software Systems Engineering or Modes/Technique design
  • Experience with FPGA or ASIC design
  • Previous experience as an Responsible Engineering Authority (REA)or Lead Systems Engineer preferred

Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics or Masters Degree or PhD in a related discipline
