Job Description
The Electronics Technician II applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufactures' manuals, or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequences, in selecting tools, and testing equipment. This technician receives technical guidance, as required from a supervisor or higher-level technician, and is reviewed for compliance with technical guidance and accepted practices. Technician may also provide technical guidance to lower level technician.

Required experience includes a minimum of 6 year inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing C-130 aircraft avionics and electrical systems (GAC, Com/Nav, EW, Sensors. Elect Env, Aircraft electrician). The candidate must have experience installing aircraft modifications to include fabricating and installing aircraft electrical system wiring, connectors, electrical components, avionics boxes and chassis’ using common and specialized hand tools, power tools, and applicable test equipment. Requires the ability to understand and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
Successful candidates should also possess experience fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and equipment associated with aircraft systems functionality. Additional task are required, and include but not limited to: HAXMAT/HAZWASTE handling, corrosion control, inspection/repair, maintenance inspection, aircraft launch and recovery, aircraft servicing, towing, and jack/shoring aircraft.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of C-130 Com/Nav, aircraft avionics and electrical system experience. Familiar with the Isochronal inspection process.
