This position will be responsible for performing electronic failure analysis of production and AQL failures. Individual will be responsible for performing electronic root cause failure analysis from AQL Sample testing and Production Test. Additional responsibilities will include test fixture wiring and construction and test fixture and test program qualification. Some software development primarily in Labview will also be required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Electronics failure analysis - Analyzes AQL sample test failures, and Production Test failures to root cause. Provides detailed summary reports and follows thru on closure.
Contructs and wires test fixtures and test racks - Assists in the development of the circuitry and fixturing required for the production testing (BFT, Final Test) of electronic modules and circuit assemblies.
Supports test software maintenance - Assists engineering in development and debug of test software, primarily in Labview.
Uses state-of-the-art programmable electronics test equipment - Failure analysis and test fixture maintenance & support will require familiarity with Network Analyzers, Power Meters, O-scopes, DMMs, Spectrum Analyzers, RF Couplers, RF Switches, RF Attenuators and RF Probes.
Maintains existing test equipment - Assists engineering in developing and maintaining PM requirements for the testers
Performs and maintains equipment Calibration - Partners with Quality to verify the currency of calibration on all new test equipment. Makes arrangements to have the equipment calibrated in accordance with the equipment manufacturers or internal MUELLER SYSTEMS recommendations.
Education Requirements: Associates degree or higher in Electronics.
Technical Experience: 0-3 years technical experience in Electronics Test and Measurement with demonstrated experience working in RF.
Industry Experience: Electronics PWA manufacturing.
Preferred Experience: Strong RF test background with a strong background using programmable test equipment and developing and writing automated tests using Labview.
