The Sioux Falls Public Schools will be conducting interviews for
elementary classroom teaching
positions, grades K-5. Applicants offered early contracts will be assigned to school locations and grade levels prior to August 2013.
Application and Selection Process:
All interested candidates must complete the online application process, including the Teacher Fit Inventory.
The online application materials are screened and candidates are selected for
"Introductory Interviews" with elementary principals, which will occur throughout the Spring.
Based on the "Introductory Interviews," identified candidates will be selected for "Full Interviews" with elementary principals.
If offered a "Full Interview," candidates must prepare and a 10-minute teaching lesson. This teaching lesson is to be recorded and posted to an online video-sharing site, (YouTube, a wiki, personal website, etc.) The HR Department will request the link to your teaching lesson if you are emailed about a "Full Interview."
Candidates offered a "Full Interview" will also participate in a writing prompt.
All "Early Hire Position" correspondence is via email, so please check your email often.
