Magnolia Regional Health Center opened its doors in 1965, consolidating the 68-bed community hospital and the 30-bed Corinth Hospital. In 2007, the hospital completed a 143,000 square-foot expansion that featured all new private patient rooms, 72 new patient rooms, 12 surgical intensive care rooms, 3 operating rooms, 6 medical office suites and more.
Today, Magnolia Regional Health Center is licensed for 164 beds and provides care to patients within the Corinth, Mississippi, community and surrounding counties. The hospital provides extensive medical services, including a Critical Care Unit, Heart & Vascular Center, and Surgery Department.
Magnolia Regional Health Center opened the Magnolia Regional Imaging Center and a cancer center in 2009, and in 2008, it kick-started an Internal Medicine Residency Program.
The Magnolia Regional Health Center has 16 beds and a staff maintained in ACLS. With 34 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of midlevel coverage, the hospital is fully prepared to diagnose and treat emergency medicine needs.
