The Perth Amboy Shelter is seeking an Emergency Shelter Resident Monitor. The Resident Monitor will oversee the nightly activities of the emergency shelter making sure that living arrangements are of the highest standards and that the security of all residents is maintained. Other responsibilities include taking attendance, performing alcohol and drug tests, completing shift reports daily and incident reports as necessary.
Requirements:
The ideal candidates will posses a High School Diploma and/or two years of experience with the delivery of services to the homeless population and have strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidates should have the ability to manage people and activities which make residential living a positive experience. Confidentiality is imperative in every aspect of this position.
This is a temporary position with employment beginning October 8, 2012 and ending April 12, 2013
