We are currently seeking talented Emerging Channels Executive for our San Antonio, TX facility.
PURPOSE OF JOB
The Emerging Channels Executive works with internal stakeholders to develop the strategic direction for one or more of USAA's mobile, tablet, and social commerce platforms. The executive identifies and communicates how consumer technology is changing the financial services industry. The executive acts on those insights by championing and delivering effective and innovative digital solutions that increase member satisfaction and drive business results.
Identify capabilities and requirements for applicable platform, i.e., mobile, tablet and social commerce.
Develop and test infrastructure to support capabilities that enable marketing, sales and service for the applicable platform, i.e., mobile, tablet and social commerce.
Drive a culture of innovation within the organization.
Develop innovation strategy, ensuring integration with the enterprise-wide strategy.
Monitor and evaluate the channel environment by analyzing competitive intelligence, trends, and emerging technologies related to channel innovation in the market. Determine channel gaps when integrating innovations or modifications into the existing channel portfolio. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or the equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. Equivalent experience includes 4 years work experience in a technical or technical support function that included evaluating and analyzing industry trends, setting growth targets, implementing initiatives and projects, or interface design.
10+ years of progressively responsible experience with Digital Platforms.
3+ years experience defining capabilities for the mobile platform for consumer markets.
Demonstrated ability to connect business deliverables with enterprise objectives and strategy. Preferred
Masters Degree in Software Engineering, Design, Business or Information Systems is highly desired.
Background in Financial Services and Consumer Technology.
Significant business and/or financial acumen and bottom-line orientation.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities and prioritize workflow.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate analysis to a non-technical audience. In addition to the requirements mentioned above, candidates are also evaluated against job related competencies that are aligned with performance expectations for this role.
